A Note from Garret: I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
On a sad note: I am sad to announce the passing of my Mom in April and needless to say the year was a tough one. I know she is looking down on us from above.
We had an eventful year of supporting the troops and their families at a number of events. From Memorial Day and Time of Remembrance to 4th of July and a number of Fundraisers with Veterans and Friends and Armed Forces Day, it was a busy year.
I am pleased to announce that production on the new CD is proceeding nicely. We have the tracks for 7 songs complete and plan to have tracking for 2 more set for February. Which leaves the singing of the lead and harmony vocals. I am happy with the way everything is sounding but I am putting a lot of extra time into the performance, which is a different animal. The feedback from some respected industry folks is strong and positive.
As for 2009, I will be hanging out at the Red Wind Casino and Billy Farmer Hosting the Open Mic Night. It will be held the First and Third Wednesday of each month. 3 Trips to Nashville are planned and hopefully some Radio play for the First Single... Sang by yours truly or a Big or up and coming artist. Plus, and number of Veterans events...
New song and updated schedule is posted on Myspace and will have new songs posted on this site soon.
